Itinerary

  • Airport pickup from Tromso airport.
  • Hotel check-in.
  • Welcoming dinner on us to get know each other.

  • 10:00:Exploring Tromsø from above by a cable car  up to the mountain ledge Storsteinen (421 m above sea level). From the viewing platform at the upper station, you can enjoy spectacular panoramic views of Tromsø and the surrounding islands, mountains and fjords.  (It depends on the weather).
  • Sightseeing in Tromsø city centre.
  • 17:30: we will gather and prepare for our 1st Aurora Chasing tour if the weather is fine enough, we will let you know. GOOD LUCK!
  • 18:00: start of the tour. On 00:00 or 01:00 the chasing tour will end.

  • 08:30: Snowmobile Adventures – Duration 6 – 7 hours. (It depends on the weather conditions).
  • 17:30: We will gather and prepare for our 2nd Aurora Chasing tour (if we haven´t seen it in the first attempt). Again, it depends on the weather conditions.
  • 18:00: Start of the tour. At 00:00 or 01:00 the chasing tour will end.

  • In this day you will have a free time to do whatever you like to refill your energy for the upcoming days.
  • We will gather and see if there is any other activity you wish to experience, maybe Skiing or a fishing trip. (Fees not included).
  • 09:00: Reindeer and Sami Culture experience. You meet real Sami people (Indigenous of northern Norway) and learn more about their history and how could they live in so cold and aggressive weather. In addition, you will visit their farm and feed their reindeers and have a short sledding tour. (It depends on the weather conditions).
  • 17:30: We will gather and prepare for our 3rd Aurora Chasing tour, if the 1st and 2nd attempts failed to chase it.
  • 18:00: Start of the tour. At 00:00 or 01:00 the chasing tour will end.
  • 0800:Husky Safari.  60 to 90 minutes of dog sledding in a small group led by an experienced guide. Each sled will be shared by two of you, one as “musher” (driver) and the other as passenger. You can change places halfway, so both get to experience the thrill of mushing and the comfort of the sled.  (It depends on the weather).
  • Rest of the day will be shopping and hanging out in the city centre.

  • Hotel Check-out.
  • Airport drop-off.

FAQ

Of course not, this is a natural phenomenon, We can´t control it. But we have the experience which will raise the probability of chasing it, we know where and when to go, and we will change our place from spot to spot til we find the best one. In addition, our tours always starts in December and ends in March, because this is the best period for Aurora.

Schengen Visa.

Yes it is safe, as all the activities are of high quality and there will be safety instructions given to you before each activity.

Dogsledding is for almost for everyone, but you need to be physically healthy, as you will need to run and push the sled uphill. If you have any questions or doubts, please let us know.

You have to take domestic flight from Oslo. It is only about 2 hours away. 

You can book your whole flights to Tromsø on Emirates, Qatar airways, KLM and Turkish airlines website.

No euros are not accepted in any shops. Norway´s currency is Norwegian Krone. 

The best way to spend money in Norway is by using your Visa or Master card.
